Earth Day 1999 theme & volunteer meetings announced

an Diego EarthWorks kicks off the New Year by announcing the Earth Day 1999 2000 theme, "Make the Connections." San Diego EarthWorks encourages people to make the connections between their actions now and a healthy, prosperous and sustainable future. "Making connections is something everyone can do," declared San Diego EarthWorks Executive Director, Carolyn Chase.

Be a part of the team that produces environmental events and activities in 1999. Find out what you can do for the Earth by volunteering, sponsoring or exhibiting at EarthFair'99 on April 18, 1999, the VIP (Very Important Planet) Reception on Earth Day, April 22, or a Restoration Project on April 25, 1999 or design your own project for the planet.
